Nona

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Carely Technologies, Inc. (“Carely”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit the Nona website, sign up for updates, or pre-order Nona.

The Nona device and app will process additional information, such as activity, sleep, location and body-signal data. Those will be covered by a separate privacy notice that we will provide before you activate your device.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Order information: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if provided, the products and colours you order, and your order history.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card or other payment details; we receive only limited information such as the payment status, card brand and last four digits.
  • Communications: information you send us when you email us, cancel an order, or contact support.
  • Email sign-ups: your email address if you ask to be notified about Nona.
  • Surveys: answers you choose to give in optional surveys, for example after checkout.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device information: pages visited, links clicked, referring website, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Campaign information: if you arrive through a link with campaign tags (UTM parameters), we record the campaign, source and landing page to understand which channels bring visitors.
  • Advertising information: through the Meta Pixel, the pages you view, what you add to your cart, when you start checkout and, if you order, the order value and products. Meta cookie identifiers let Meta connect these actions to its users and to our ads.
  • Cart contents: the colours and quantities in your cart are stored in your own browser so your cart is kept between visits.

See our Cookie Policy for details of the cookies we use.

2. How we use information

  • To process, ship and support your pre-order, including refunds and cancellations.
  • To send you order confirmations, shipping updates and other service messages.
  • To send product news and launch updates if you have signed up; you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it, including measuring which campaigns lead to orders.
  • To measure and improve our advertising on Meta’s platforms (Facebook and Instagram), including showing our ads to people who have visited our website.
  • To prevent fraud, keep the website secure, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers that help us run the website and fulfil orders, under contracts that limit how they may use it:

StripePayment processing, checkout, receipts and fraud prevention
Google AnalyticsWebsite analytics and measuring conversions
Website hosting and infrastructure providersHosting and delivering the website

Advertising partners

We use the Meta Pixel on our website and Meta’s Conversions API from our servers. When you visit, Meta receives the actions described above along with your IP address, browser information and Meta cookie identifiers. When you place an order, we also send Meta your email address, name, phone number, city, state, ZIP code, country and our customer reference for you, each in hashed (scrambled) form, so Meta can recognise its users without seeing these details themselves. We do not send your street address. Meta uses this information to measure and deliver our ads, and may use it for its own purposes under its own terms, as described in Meta’s Privacy Policy. Under some US state laws, this counts as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, or as “targeted advertising”. See Your choices and rights for how to opt out.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

4. How long we keep information

We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, typically up to seven years. We keep email sign-ups until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • opt out of marketing emails, using the unsubscribe link in any email;
  • opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, where those terms apply under state law;
  • not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Residents of California and other US states with consumer privacy laws can exercise these rights by emailing hello@meetnona.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing and targeted advertising for that browser: the Meta Pixel does not load, and we do not send your order to Meta. To opt out without GPC, email us and we will stop sending your orders to Meta. You can also limit how Meta uses information from other websites for ads in your Facebook or Instagram settings, under “Ad preferences”.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit. Payment details are handled by Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Where information is processed

We are based in the United States and process information in the United States. Some of our service providers may process information in other countries, subject to appropriate safeguards.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the date above; for significant changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
